Mission Statement

The Singles Ministry is for the never married, divorced, single parent, and widowed, age 25 and up. Our mission is to provide support, prayer and encouragement. We are a ministry that identifies with others and focuses on giving detailed attention to individual problems through discussion and counseling.

We focus on what can be gained when we release our loneliness to God, letting Him direct our pathway (Proverbs). We recognize the need to cultivate and meet the needs of single males and females. We are a ministry where both genders can spend time together and lift one another through activities, prayer meetings, seminars, workshops and fellowships.

We will grow, trust, give and receive support, provide unity to the Ministry, strengthen one another, be a resource of security, give and receive love, and provide an avenue for problem solutions through serving and sharing resources with one another.

In affirmation of the Singles' Ministry, in the 9th chapter of Matthew, Jesus engulfed himself with people's problems. Everywhere Jesus turned, people were wanting something from him.

The Great Commission does not belong to us, but it belongs to the world. Therefore, it is the goal of God for us to become not only world Christian singles, but world Christian singles with a vision. We must move beyond where we are and not limit God because of our lack of understanding, but open our minds to a great horizon. We must learn to take this command seriously. The Singles' Ministry is designed to reach out and to prepare those involved in it to reach out.
